Resolution in Support of 7A for South Metro Fire

At the September 8th Executive Committee Meeting, the Douglas County Democrats voted on a resolution in support of 7A for South Metro Fire Rescue. South Metro’s property tax rate hasn’t changed since 2004 and is the lowest among similar departments in Colorado. With the increase in population and increasing operating and capital costs, this funding is necessary to maintain emergency services in South Metro's district.
