WHO WE ARE
The Douglas County Democratic Party, as the name suggests, is the official Democratic Party entity for Douglas County, Colorado. We have a lot of important work on our plate, including organizing biannual caucuses, electing delegates to state and congressional Democratic assemblies, recruiting and training candidates, organizing for action in our community, and getting out the vote during elections.

To do that work we elect officers and appoint committees to oversee the work of the county party.

We are a family of Democrats in Douglas County. We don't always agree on everything, but we always foster a safe, welcoming environment and respect for everyone we work with. Get involved today to make a difference.

The Douglas County Democratic Party is the smallest organizational unit of the Democratic Party in our area, and we mean that as a good thing! When you hear "grassroots of the party," that means us. We recruit and support candidates, train party activists, engage with government agencies, promote action in our community, and fulfill duties in many parts of the election process like caucus planning and electing delegates.
