We had 2500 in Castle Rock on June 14th.
On October 18th, we want even MORE!!
The assault on Democracy by the Trump regime gets worse Every. Single. Day. We cannot back down. We must show them that our commitment to defending Democracy only grows by the day as well. Here in Douglas County, we will once again join millions nationwide to send a clear message that a wanna-be king is an illegitimate president.
Time and location details for our DougCo protest are still in the works, so please mark your calendars and stay tuned!!
It was a busy week...

On Saturday, Aug 30th, we got together to once again send Lauren Boebert letters about how she is failing her constituents. To make it harder to ignore our letters, we used very colorful envelopes and may have even added some glitter to a few :)

On Wednesday, Sep 3rd, we heard from Colorado Attorney General candidate Michael Dougherty in an incredibly informative Know Your Rights training that covered gun violence prevention, hate crimes, and dealing with ICE.

On Saturday, Sep 6th, our partner org Democracy Now DougCO (formerly Lone Tree Votes) Indivisible hosted a fantastic forum where a packed room heard from all four CD-04 Democratic primary candidates running to unseat Boebert.
Upcoming Events*Note: Not all events are organized by DougCo Activism. One of our goals is to support, promote, and collaborate on events led by other activism groups in and around Douglas County. |
