What Do We Do Now?
I know you heard from me once already this weekend and you will be hearing from me several times in the coming weeks because there is a lot of information I need to convey to you and I want to divide it up into manageable, single-topic emails. One of the things I think we are all experiencing is a sense of helplessness. What can we, as individuals, do to push for the change our society so desperately needs? One of the most important things we can do is elect people up and down the ballot who will produce, support, and demand legislation that fixes the inequities that have been built into our system.
The Douglas County Democratic Party wants to help you learn about the candidates so you can vote for people who share your values. In the service of providing this education, we have organized virtual events for the two major contested primary races you will see on your ballot in June.
Here are the details:
Tomorrow, Monday, 6/1: 7-8pm - Forum with US Senate Candidate, John Hicklooper
Join via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87969426481?pwd=NjA3eHNNbG1VNC9EQVJmUkVNZUNwdz09
Tuesday, 6/2: 7-8pm - Forum with US Senate Candidate, Andrew Romanoff
Join via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89683458002?pwd=ODhDa25EeGYydFBPalRGSUx6ZXZrZz09
At these events, we are going to be asking a couple of virtual survey questions. I ask that you complete them via these links below if you are not able to attend either of our US Senate Candidate Forums. We really need your feedback and this will take 2 minutes, so please, help us to better understand what you are interested in and what you need from us.

Here are some upcoming events I would encourage you to attend so we can have elected officials who start to make our county a model for the rest of this country.
