Please join us virtually for the annual Douglas County Democratic Party 2020 Dinner to celebrate 2019 victories, recognize and honor our volunteers and help turn Douglas County Blue in 2020!

We are excited to announce that our annual Douglas County Democratic Party dinner has been moved to Saturday, August 1st, 2020.  Our first priority is ensuring the safety and health of our community, which is why we have made the difficult decision to move to a fully virtual event.  Throughout the event there are several opportunities to engage with local elected and party leaders such as Colorado Democratic Chair Morgan Carroll, State Treasurer Dave Young, and Congressman Jason Crow.

With this new date confirmed we are excited to announce our speaker, former White House Communications Director and Senior Advisor to the Obama administration, Dan Pfeiffer.  Pfeiffer is well known for his role on Pod Save America, a popular progressive podcast with other fellow Obama White House veterans.  During his time at the White House, Pfeiffer is credited with breaking new ground utilizing social media to expand the range of nontraditional venues that the President used to communicate with the public.  With his new book Un-Trumping America: A Plan to Make America a Democracy Again he will share how to defeat Trump and local Republican opponents, while fixing our democracy.  Following his keynote address he will do a Q&A session for anyone interested in advice on applying his training to Douglas County.  There are still a few VIP reception tickets available if you want to engage with Dan Pfeiffer in a smaller group setting.

If you have already purchased your tickets and are able to participate on August 1 then there is nothing you need to do at this time, your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date.  You will receive more information about this ticket transfer via email.  If you purchased tickets but are unable to attend the new date please contact us to either donate your tickets as scholarship tickets or request a refund.  You can continue to purchase tickets for the event on August 1 by visiting this site.

This event is the primary fundraiser of our local Democratic party and it is more important than ever that we continue to raise funds to support our critical 2020 political campaigns and events.   This event is also an important celebration of our local volunteers and candidates.  Please take a moment to nominate a someone within our Democratic community who has made an impact on the party at this link.
